First, I received a short call from Bloomberg HR after referring by a friend. Mainly talked about some simple behavioral questions and ask me to choose Houston/NYC office. Then HR helped me to schedule a 30 minutes phone interview with Bloomberg's engineer one week later. The tech interviewer is friendly and the interviewer talked a lot during the interview process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Easy problem: given a string of numbers, add "," between every thousand. Like given "1000000", get "1,000,000." Even the problem is easy, the interviewer asked a lot of question about the time complexity, especially on substring, string add, and etc. Waiting for my onsite interview.
