I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Feb 2014
Interview
Technical interview, 3-4 rounds with developers/managers on DS/Alg questions, 1 round background interview with HR. Difficulty of questions vary with the interviewer, from simple LL/Stacks to database queries and associated problems. Interviewers are friendly and helpful with tips and suggestions during the problem solving. Because I was a math major there was a math major interviewer who interviewed me for one of the round which I do not think is common for CS majors
