Bloomberg Software Engineer interview questions

The Interview slot is for 45 minutes. There were 2 people in the panel, and then it started with a round of self introduction. Once thats done, I was asked to speak in detail of the project I had worked on previously. SOme 25 minutes of the interview centered on the project that I worked previously, like why it was done that way and why not that way. Then I was asked to write a C program to count the no of words in a string. With that the interview ended and I asked some 1-2 questions and signed off

1. University interview : consisted of simple algorithms, coding, and c/c++ language knowledge 2. Onsite interview : one hour good technical intv, half an hour HR, half an hour technical again. 3. They are very quick in their process, very professional. Gave back results in 2 days. Interviewers mostly concentrated on knowledge of algorithms => sorts, searches, big O, dynamic programming. They also quiz a lot on language features = c and c++. Interviewers were very bright, and discussed the question thoroughly, making sure that solution explained by us is actually understood. They did not go through the projects on resume.
