Role: Associate Intern Structure: First an online case assessment, then 2 casing rounds - one 45 min interview each with a Project Leader and a Managing Director & Partner (MDP) respectively. My 1st round was a standard structured case, while my 2nd round was an estimation qns thought up on the spot by the MDP. Timeline: Online case was sent in mid Oct, received 1st round invites in early Nov, interviews were 1-2 week apart each. In between both rounds, you have a chance to meet your 1st round interviewer to receive feedback and ask questions about the firm, which I really liked! Interview Experience: Interviewers were friendly and really sharp when asking follow up questions, so be confident and prepared to substantiate your answers. My case questions were not too hard, but I had friends who had more difficult cases. Tip: In my experience, I find that my interviewers did not assess fit directly through asking questions, but more of through their interactions with you through the case. So just try to enjoy the case and show enthusiasm in problem solving. Be confident!
