After completing the online application you are invited to an assessment day at the British Airways HQ. The assessment day is very unstructured and you are left waiting for long periods of time without being told what is happening. We were taken into a room to complete a group team exercise which involved budgeting items on a 8hr flight. We were then taken into rooms one on one and given a role play scenario, mine involved dealing with an unhappy customer who missed his connecting flight. All in all I thought I did very well but I was not invited to the second part of the assessment. There was no feedback given which is very poor considering the lengths people had gone through to get to the assessment, we were just told to have a think and we would eventually realise where we had gone wrong but could apply again after 6 months - again not very constructive considering nothing we had done wrong was obvious and therefore we would keep making these mistakes unless told otherwise?! A couple of the girls who got through successfully were 18 years old and fresh from college with no job experience, one girl also had a nose piercing and arrived 10 minutes late. Not sure whether they cherry pick who they like the look off and those they personally don't feel a connection with?

Easy and friendly people. Did an online interior. Breakout rooms for one on one sections. Asked to read a sheet then asked questions about my experience. How I have handled previous situations. Used star formula went very well.
