      Airside Driver Interview

      Jul 6, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at British Airways (London, England) in Jun 2016

      Interview

The whole application goes like this.. First off you apply online, and do 2 tests - one consists of 'true' or 'untrue' questions in which you compare 2 sets of characters and numbers, and say true if they're the same, untrue if not. The next test is following a tricky worded instruction to find your answer. There's a lot of questions but don't worry you don't need to answer them all, it's quality over quantity fortunately. If successful you complete a few more standard recruitment questions online and book your 25 minute telephone interview slot. At the end of the call they tell you if you're successful or not. (Handy) after that you choose a suitable assessment date. At the assessment centre (dress smartly and be early) you will hand in your ID and documentation then go through to a room where you'll sit in groups on tables. This is all about how you operate in a team and on your own. You will be watched and they will take notes on how you act. So be outgoing, speak up but not over people. Offer your answers and ideas to the group and listen to others. Be confident in what you're saying. At the assessment they're not expecting you to know anything or everything about British Airways but some knowledge is helpful (obviously). You have 2 group activities and 1 single activity. They may vary between assessment days so all I advise is be confident, and speak up.
