On assessment day we started off as a group of 30. I would strongly advise you arrive at least 30 minutes early to your appointment. We was then taken through to a waiting area and asked to fill in a form that asked about tattoo, piercings etc.. Then you will need to hand over the photo copies of your documents to the front desk and then asked to take a seat in the waiting area. You will then be called out to do your reach test- this is just to see if your tall enough to reach overhead and also to see if you can brace whilst strapped into a cabin chair. As most people have said on past reviews, try and talk to others! We were then taken into see a presentation on the job what to expect etc. We then was taken back out into the waiting area and names were called either in groups of 4 or individually. The group task is nothing to be worried about, there are no right or wrong answers to the task you are simply being assessed on how you work as a team. Make sure you speak up and listen to others! You will then be asked to go back to the waiting area and wait for your name to be called for a 1:1 role play and announcement test. I got so worked up over this but my assessor was lovely and made me feel at ease. You will basically have to deal with a irritated passenger and try to help them out.
This is the tough part... once everyone has completed both assessments you will be asked to collect your documents and sit back down. They will then call out names and you will have to go with the assessor into a conference room. This is when they tell you if your going home or staying for the 2:1 interview. Luckily I passed and got to have the 2:1 which I will say was the most challenging for me. Make sure you have scenarios ready for any situation to do with customer service!
I am still waiting to hear back from my interview but I wanted to add this on whilst I can still remember! Good Luck!
