I applied online. I interviewed at British Airways (Manchester, England) in Mar 2016
Interview
Online tests, followed by telephone interview and assessment,
The whole process is handled by Manpower staff, a number of whom flounce around giving the impression they are BA staff! Unimpressive! Poor grammatical errors in documentation, on website and even on BA's website. As an amateur proof reader, (and qualified/experienced teacher!) I was appalled to find, that when I highlighted the errors (in the nicest possible way) I was summarily dismissed... 'we know about the errors!'
The role play process was amateurish; this was followed by further mathematical testing... and they give you a calculator to undertake the calculations.... simple addition, subtraction, multiplication!
Maybe I'll just stick to the academic world!

Interview
Such a positive experience. Very welcoming environment, super friendly staff which make the interview a lot less nervous. I could tell they value their employees a lot seeing how much training there was and they way they spoke to their employees and the candidates for the interview. The interview process was half a half group actives and individual. For the group actives we'd have to work on a situation and we'd have to work together to think of a solution. Then for the individual section we did a test of working out holiday prices and writing emails to customers, then we'd have a fake customer call with one of the employees then finally we had a speed dating interview process individually for 4 minutes.

Question 1
When have you had an angry customer and how did you solve the situation?

Interview
I completed online Assesment than I was given a telephone interview. However, it went awful because I have never had a job before and I could not answer accurately. Also, I found it all to be patronising because the person you talking to did not make the interview process comfotable.
