Application
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 10 days. I interviewed at broadcom in july 2015.
I was invited to a first interview by phone, there was only one Interviewer.
The interview was about two hours long and contained questions about my projects and questions related to logic design. their were a lot of questions about my projects to check if i really understand everything and to see how me and my project partner devided the work, and what was my part.
I felt like the Interviewer was more focused on my grades then my answers.

Interview
Got the call from corporate recruiter for a position in San Jose. They didn't do a phone screen first and asked me directly for an on-site. I think the reason is because my current job is an exact match for they are doing there. Went to the SJ office and talked to about 5 engineers plus the manager.
