The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CVS Health in Jun 2010
Interview
It was the shortest interview I have ever been to; it was probably seven minutes long. I sat down with the general manager and he asked me a total of four questions. The rest of the time he spent rambling about how half of the cashiers working there needed to get fired because they did not provide good customer service. He then stressed that CVS strives for excellent customer service. Finally, he told me there were about 5-6 people he needed to interview and that he would call me for my references. I asked if I could just give it to him then and there but said he would call. Or I could call if I liked. He seemed rather scatterbrained and I have not called the store yet or received a call.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CVS Health (York, PA) in Dec 2009
Interview
I was called in by my manager to meet one-on-one for an interview. We discussed the position and all that it would entail including hours, responsibilities, opportunity for advancement, work culture, etc. Pretty standard interview questions. The job was not hyped. My manager laid it out and let me know exactly what to expect. We both knew that I was overqualified for the position and that this was a part time gig while I'm in Grad school, but he was extremely understanding about schedule concerns and I accepted the job. It's been a great part-time job and I recommend CVS to anyone.
