I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CVS Health (Boston, MA) in May 2014
Interview
Hiring process took quite a long time. There was a phone interview with a hiring associate outside of the store I was applying to, and then an in person interview with the assistant store manager. I was offered the job on the spot, but had to wait several days for an e-mail to formally accept the position. After that, it took several weeks for me to be included in a new hire "class", which required me to drive nearly an hour away to another CVS location. The class was about two or three hours, and I was seated among other new hires for the entire district at a table. We were asked simple questions about ourselves, including our strengths and weaknesses. It was a very easy-going class, and we were taught the standards, protocols, and mission statement of the company. After completing the class, I had to wait to hear back from the store manager on my start date, which was about a week and a half later. Over all, the entire hiring process took about a month from accepting the position, to actually working a shift in the store.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at CVS Health (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2017
Interview
I was taken into the store manager's office, and treated very kindly. It seems like there were questions that needed to asked, but she went script and seemed to be trying to get to know me on a more basic level. It was professional, but not all work related.
