I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CVS Health (Bedford, VA) in Jan 2014
Interview
I went in and walked around the store with the manager as she asked a few questions and let me know what the job was all about. After she showed me around the store I was basically handed the job and my training was set up from there.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CVS Health (Destin, FL) in Mar 2011
Interview
It was quick and painless. I applied and was quickly called back due to the store's shortage of employees. I have heard of this process taking a lot longer for others however.
I applied online. I interviewed at CVS Health (Boston, MA) in Nov 2011
Interview
Applied on line. Received phone call the next week. Arranged for an interview with the manager of the store. Arrived early for interview. Had to wait at least 20 minutes before the manager came out of his office.
The interview was conducted on the selling floor. Due to this fact there were many interruptions during the interview from customers asking about the location of items in the store. I found this to be very unprofessional. A job interview should be done in an office where it is hopefully quiet and private.
The questions were the usual type of questions. Such as why do you want to work for CVS, why should I hire you, tell me about a difficult situation that happened at your previous job and how you handled it and what was the outcome.
I got a phone call about a week later offering me a part-time job which I accepted. The pay was $8.00 per hour. I got full-time hours after working there for over a year.
