I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Cognizant (Dehradun) in Apr 2026
Interview
My interview experience was overall quite good. The interviewers were friendly, and the questions were not very difficult. They mainly asked basic questions related to SQL, Python, and computer networking. I was able to answer some of the questions confidently, which made me feel comfortable during the interview.
The only challenge I faced was an unstable internet connection. There were several glitches during the interview, and at times the audio was not very clear. Despite these technical issues, the interview process went smoothly, and it was a valuable learning experience for me. It helped me understand what kind of questions are commonly asked and how important it is to be prepared for both technical and communication aspects of an interview.
The interview process consisted of an online assessment followed by a technical and HR interview. The technical round focused on programming fundamentals, object-oriented concepts, database basics, and problem-solving skills. The interviewer was friendly and asked questions based on my resume, projects, and academic background. The HR round included questions about my career goals, strengths, willingness to relocate, and reasons for joining Cognizant. Overall, the process was smooth and well-organized.
