Classic leetcode interview. Though, was told by the recruiter it wasn't "true leetcode, it's more practical DSA stuff".
The interviewer explained the prompt incorrectly. Even after I confirmed the requirements multiple times, I got about half way through my solution before being told "Oh, sorry, I forgot to tell you X". Her suggestions towards my solution lead me further away, and she even admitted "I don't know how to solve this one either" - I got pretty close to a working solution, but didn't finish.
The interviewer showed up 10 minutes late, and did not extend my time to find a solution, she said I took too long, and ended the call right on the scheduled time.
Recruiter ghosted me for a good couple of weeks and I had to chase up multiple times to get the official rejection which had no feedback.
Technical interview focused on coding and system design problems, emphasizing clean code, scalability, and architectural decisions.
Received detailed, professional feedback highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement in design and implementation.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Canva (Sydney) in Nov 2025
