Interview
Long. It took four months over all four interviews. A very wide range of questions from a diverse group of people. The challenges were difficult, but it should tell you what to expect if you're given an offer.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Canva in Jan 2022
Interview
Applied online for an open role. I got scheduled with a recruiter but the day of our chat, she told me the role was already filled…She recommended me for a different role that was completely out of scope and I politely declined. An hour later she reached out to recommend the original role I had applied for..turns out it wasn’t filled at all. We had a chat and it was fine. Then I had a chat with the HM and she loved my answers. She told me that the next step was a presentation and walked me through what to expect. However, the recruiting team never got back to me to send me the prompt or schedule next rounds. Two weeks later, I received an email saying the role was filled. From beginning to end, the recruiting process has been awful, which surprised me considering how great of a company Canva supposedly is. Don’t tell me I’m moving forward and not actually move me forward. I put a lot of time and effort into preparing so I think it’s incredibly rude and disrespectful.

Interview
It was consisted of standard behaviours and technical interviews. I felt that the entire process was a scam
and it's completely waste of their time and mine. After almost 4 hours' interviews, I still had no ideas which team that I would get placed to and who would be my manager.
The interviewers were also quite condescending and told me that I should solve tech problem in their way and my thought process wasn't valid at all. Canva is a bit like Scotty from the marketing. Doing lots of PR but it has no substance. I know that they are quite big on progressive things but honestly, the interview process is the worst ever.
