I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Canva (Manila, ) in Jul 2021
Interview
Interview was pretty relaxed and the interviewer was very friendly. They contacted me via email at first then they asked me to pick a date for the interview. The interview took about 30-45 minutes only. I'm still waiting for a reply.

Interview
Submit CV via career page, then a person from HR team contacted me to setup meeting for phone interview. 3 hours after meeting, they inform the result, pretty fast and so simple.
A very disappointing interview experience overall, mostly to do with the recruiter I was in contact with.
Initial chat with recruiter, I was met with a deflated attitude and made to feel like they had better things to be doing.
Was told I'd receive study material as I progressed to the second round but that never came.
Second round with one of the developers was fine, had a series of questions, each one building off of the result of the last. Was able to answer the questions but did not articulate myself well and did not optimise my answer. I didnt realise that this was a key factor in this particular interview.
The copy pasted rejection email and 10 words of feedback following were supremely unhelpful, along the lines of "study the API". Given that the candidate is allowed to use Google during the interview to reference the API, I did not think this was helpful feedback at all and would have wanted to hear back on how I could improve my verbal communication or specific points I got stuck on.
