Interview
Interviewer was friendly and asked great questions. The problem was that the main focus of the job was not shared before the interview. I have extensive experience in this particular area, and would have had a lot to contribute, but was blindsided and had to think on my feet. Of course I remembered all the things that would have helped demonstrate my expertise after the interview... I've spoken to other people who interview saying that they make sure they share specific information before the interview if it's not in the general description. Unfortunately this experience let both sides down. It was also shared that the interview process would be extensive (4 interviews plus sample work) and take two months...I already have other offers in the pipeline and this timeline would also have count me out of the opportunity. Not sure why there are so many easy to remedy barriers.
