Canva Software Developer interview questions

In the first introductory talk with the recruiter, he insisted that I tell him my desired salary otherwise he would not be able to start me on the interview process. Oh well, goodbye Canva, I guess I'll be going elsewhere.

This was probably the worst interview experience I've ever had in my entire career. Don't be surprised by their 40% negative experience rate on Glassdoor. The recruiters seemed absolutely unprofessional and had the worst attitude of any recruiters I've ever talked to. Although props to their software engineers who were welcoming and helpful throughout the process. Applied online, the process took 2 months in total. First was an interview with a recruiter with technical questions followed by several coding interviews with their software engineers. Recruiters were extremely unhelpful, never answered my questions and ghosted all my emails. I admire Canva greatly as one of the top tech companies here and have some amazing ex-workmates who work there but they really need to get rid of some of their recruiters. I will never be applying here again, its a shame I won't be able to work with some great engineers I've met in the company but this experience has just left a sour taste. If you're reading this, apply elsewhere there's many better places or wait till they boot out these terrible recruiters who are tarnishing their reputation.
