Interview
Drive was held for final year BE students on 18th October 2016. Eligibility criteria was 60% throughout with no backlog and was only for CS, IS, EC and EE branches. There were around 300 students for the drive. We were happy to know that there was no negative marking for this year, because till date Capgemini conducts aptitude tests which had negative marking.
First day, it started with an aptitude test hosted by third party company which conducts online tests. Test had 20 questions from which half the questions from logical reasoning and rest half from quantitative.
Test had very less topics to cover like nearly 10 to 15 topics. The questions were bit tricky, still were easy to solve.
2nd round was essay writing which started as soon as aptitude test got ended. All those who attended the drive had to write the essay. Essay round seemed bit easy which was conducted to examine our language, indentation, formatting, spelling and typing style. We had to write an essay for 300 words.
After this we were told to wait for the results till noon. Anyhow the next round was going to be on the very next day.
We heard like the cut-off was around 70%.
I was amazed to see my name on the list which included 41 other names.
Studied basics Data structure, C, C++, JAVA and DBMS.
2nd had 2 rounds, technical round followed by HR interview. Started with a pre placement talk, day started. I was 8th person to get into interview room. I was so excited that he could see it on my face and he directly told me that you seem excited.
After all the questions he seemed impressed wrote very good on my resume and passed it to HR round. I was the only one to get a "very good" comment among all. I was then sent to HR round which ended good and HR was impressed.
