I got a mail to appear for walk in interview on 19 Nov 2017 which was for 2 - 10 years of experience in Java, Spring and Rest.I thought it to be a good opportunity to go. But I did not expected such an unprofessional behaviour from a company like this. The time mentioned in the mail was to appear from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Celebrum IT Park, Pune. I reached there around 9.45 AM. At 10.15 AM all the resumes were taken and they started calling 10 people's for interview. But at 12.30 PM a lady announced that guys who are below 3 years of experience please go back as we will take interview only for candidate having more than 3 years of experience. After waiting for 2.5 hrs we were told to go back. We even tried to tell that lady that in the mail that we got it was mentioned for 2- 10 years of experiences even the candidates strength was not more than 180 people and we can wait. But the lady was silent she has no answer other than that we cannot take your interview then she went inside the chamber and didn't come back. If the company was not taking interview for less than 3 years then why to mail the candidates wrong information. It was waste of our time and money as I live in hinjewadi which is around 25 km away from office location.This was a really bad experience for me as well as for many candidates who has appeared for the interview.Such kind of unprofessional behaviour goes with a bad impression on the candidates. I had really good thoughts about Capgemini right from start of my carrier but what happened today wid me just made me feel very disappointed. This questions about the integrity of the company.

Interview
Had the worst experience with Capgemini. I applied through vlsconsulting agency. Firstly, they have online assessment test followed by telephonic technical discussion in capgemini office and after that HR will ask you to share documents for background verification so that they can release an offer. But even after 1 month, I haven't got any update and when i told them that i got another offer and if they can tell me their offer so that i can decide from the options i had. HR replied that due to high CTC expectation business has denied to approve on the CTC beyond certain amount which was lesser than my current package as well. I was surprised to see such a reply because i have already mentioned by ECTC on the very first day to the consultant agency.
