I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2015
Interview
The first round interview took place at the campus by a campus recruiter from Capital One. It was a fairly simple case interview. The final round took place at the headquarter in North York, ON, and was a 3-hour back-to-back interview, composed of 2 cases and 1 behavioral interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Tell me about a time when your manager gives you an additional task while you already have a full workload.
2. Tell me about a time when you have to work with someone that does not collaborate with the team.
3. The case interviews are generally accounting cases where you have to calculate P/L and how costs/revenue change due to a change in strategies.
Three rounds of interviews, two of them are case based to assess technical knowledge (first case is relatively easy, calculation needed), one is mainly behavioural questions with the team leader
1st round was 45 mins. Simple case (profitability and basic business acumen) plus a bit of behavioural
2nd round was in-person; networking dinner the night before, and then two back to back interviews (an hour long case and a 30 min behavioural)

Question 1
For the case it was breakeven calculations and basic business questions (e.g. what are the risks and mitigations associated with this venture...)
Do case study questions. If you got an interview invitation, you will receive case studies examples, and they will ask similar questions during interview. After this, will have about 15 minutes behavioral questions. Why capital one? Introduce yourself...
