Cisco Data Center Tech interview questions

Most unexpected question was along the lines of this: You are called to a director's office to trouble shoot his Unix box, when you arrive you are shown the machine by his admin who tells you it was working last night before they left for the evening. When you move the mouse it does nothing at all, no sound, no display - what do you do first?
