I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cisco in Mar 2011
Interview
scheduled a 45 minute interview through my campus career center. When I received the call, I realized that I could not understand the interviewer very well, so I grabbed some ear phones to make the process smoother. The most difficult part of the interviewer was just making sure that I understood the questions he was asking, so I just repeated them back to make sure that I got them. Started off with basic interview questions, then asked about code understanding and a couple thought process, questions.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about my projects and how it can apply to their job.
It wasn't bad. The questions were fairly easy and the time given was generous. The first part involves an online interview where they ask the programming questions followed then by some technical and behavioral questions.
I applied online and didn't hear back for a few months, got an update in December to check if I was still interested in the position. Interviewed in February, it was a Webex interview of forty-five minutes.
