I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Cisco in Feb 2016
Interview
1st round: CV screening
2nd round: Telephone Interview (described here)
Some employee of some HR agency rushes you through approximately 7 questions. He does not know anything about the job, but just writes down your answers like a machine. It's horrible, because there is just no dialogue. You are simply speaking to a human wall.
Maybe they should think of skipping this stage and just have applicants write an essay in which they treat these 7 questions...
