The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cisco in Sep 2011
Interview
Cisco was at my school's career fair and I signed up for interview the next day. I only had one 1:1 interview. During the interview, I was asked some behavioral questions and technical questions. The only technical question I remember is to check if given string is a palindrome. I received the decision pretty quickly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about the project you worked on outside of the class.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cisco (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2011
Interview
It was a college recruiting event, and I got an 1:1 interview with an alumni. The interviewer was nice and professional. She asked several general first interview questions and some technical questions. The technical questions were pretty straight but not tricky. If you got CCNA or CCENT Certification, you will be fine with those technical questions.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cisco (Raleigh, NC) in Oct 2011
Interview
The interview takes place on Webex. Cisco's webcam/teleconferencing service. You interview you with a current ASE. The interview is very difficult if you are not from an engineering background, which was my case. They ask questions about some general networking concepts like how a router works, what cloud computing is and other concepts. They also want you to know a lot about the difference services that Cisco provides. Really study up on Cisco. Be honest and if you don't know the answer, don't fake it.
