I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco
Interview
The process was organized, and the team seemed professional at first, but the actual interviews were disappointing. Despite clear documentation stating the focus would be on TypeScript/React, code composition, patterns, and testing, none of these areas were properly assessed. Instead, I was given a generic algorithmic exercise, similar to those on Leetcode, which felt irrelevant to the role.
This mismatch left me feeling frustrated and misled, as I had prepared for the skills the company claimed to value. The lack of transparency undermined what could have been a strong candidate experience.
