I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cisco (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Applied through college and was scheduled for face to face at school itself. Interviewer was friendly and asked about current projects. I thought it went well bud didn't hear back from them. They were majorly focusing for JAVA developers and I'm more into .net and web technologies which might be the reason for rejection.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cisco (Raleigh, NC) in Nov 2012
Interview
Only one interview with my hiring manager and a senior engineer. Interview was to see what technical information I had learned in the past week from a book that was given to me, as well as to see how I thought through problems and whether I could pick up concepts on the fly.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco in Mar 2016
Interview
A recruiter contacted me to setup a phone screen with one of the Engineering directors. I had the interview via Webex and he was very polite and asked me several questions. Not too technical but trying to find out about more if I am a cultural fit or if I had a passion to write code and to also work at Cisco. 3 weeks after the interview,I got the offer.
