Cisco Software Engineer interview questions

I had a WebEx interview with 2 people. They asked a variety of typical interview questions such as What do you know about our company? What do you know about this position? What did you apply for this position? Tell me about your background. What about your work history makes you a good candidate for this position? Why are you leaving your current job. Describe your work habits.

I've interviewed for Cisco many times. Sometimes I've gotten a job offer, sometimes I haven't. This review is about a time I didn't. The interview process took place over 2 days and consisted of four, one-hour video conference sessions with the team manager, the tech lead, the team members and then again the team manager. Live coding was accomplished by sharing my desktop and writing in pseudo code. I did make it to the final round, and we did discuss salary although it ended up being much less than I was expecting.
