I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Co-op (Bournemouth, England) in Jan 2017
Interview
I applied through a form in store, heard back 2 or 3 weeks later to come in for an interview. interview was easy, just general chit chat about my CV and availability etc. got the job then and there, think they were really needing someone asap.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Co-op (Bournemouth, England) in Jul 2020
Interview
Online assessment then face to face. I was very disappointed in the interview. The interviewer asked the competence questions then just spoke the whole time. Didn't ask me much. How can you assess someone without finding out about them? Didn't get back to me on three occasions when I was following up and said he would and then texted me by accident rather than someone else he had clearly chosen and not let me know. Poor experience.

Interview
I applied online and was then asked to complete an online behavioural questionnaire. I did well and was invited to an interview. However, the interview was at a different store from where I had applied. I emailed to confirm that this was correct but was only told the address again. That wasn't helpful and should have been the first red flag.
Arrived at my interview early and was taken into a small room in the back of the store. I was wearing a mask because of covid-19 but the interviewer wasn't. Again, this should have been a red flag. So we both sat in a small confined space with no air flow. The interviewer then proceeded to ask me questions while facing away from me. The whole experience was just off.
