I interviewed at Co-op (Stratford-upon-Avon, England)
Interview
Standard, but in a unusual location (warehouse). Asked me questions based on what was in the E-Mail provided to me by the company. It was pretty straightforward, but I didn't get the job (presumably because of hours). Co-op took about 4 months to say that I failed to get in.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself/ Tell me about a time where you had to use teamwork
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Co-op (Maidstone, England) in Feb 2021
Interview
Straightforward 5 scenario questions based on work/life history. Store manager seemed happy and said they'd be in touch in a few days. A week later, no response so emailed HR and the usual re-buff I've seen other posters say - "we've sent him an email to chase a decision for you". Another week went by and still no decision, contrary to the Co-ops promise on their website that every candidate will have a recruitment decision given to them. Logged on to their recruitment site and withdrew my application. Disheartening and pretty disrespectful for the Co-op to behave this way towards unsuccessful applicants but then again it's important to recognise that as long as store managers meet their KPI's, they can pretty much run the show according to whim.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Co-op (Manchester, England) in Feb 2020
Interview
Advertised on their careers page. Submitted a CV and online situation test. Was invited to an interview a week later. Interview was very relaxed and the hiring manager was really nice. It lasted around 30 mins. The interview started with general questions like 'tell me about yourself' and 'why co op' and then there were behavioural questions (tell me about a time you...). The interview ended with the manager explaining more about the role and also uniform size, availability etc. Got a call the next day on the outcome.
