I applied online. I interviewed at Co-op (Hereford, England) in Oct 2025
Interview
The Co Op Hr recruitment processes are very slick. They provide you with so many resources to prepare you for the interview as well as CV prep etc. All automated and really efficient.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They do a few questions about scenarios where you gave good customer service, advocated for yourself, took ownership of a task.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Co-op (Keighley, England) in Oct 2025
Interview
After initial friendly introduction I was asked to complete three short exercises. Then we sat and I was asked why I was interested in the position and what my background was. I was then asked some behavioural based questions on examples of situations and how I had dealt with them. Finally I was asked if I had any questions relating to the role. Throughout the process it was made clear what was required in a open, informative and friendly manner.
Thank you for sharing your experience of interviewing with us. We're pleased that you had an enjoyable experience. Reviews like yours help people understand what to expect.
The interviewer was friendly, we had a nice chat about milk and cookies. The nice thing about cookies with respect to milk is that their expiry date is much longer.

Do you drink milk?
Are you going to drink milk?

Well, that sounds like a very interesting interview, but I'm afraid you've left it for the wrong business. Our Co-op is based in the United Kingdom and has no affiliation with Co-operatives in the USA. You may wish to amend your review so your thoughts on your interview are shared with the correct organisation.
