Firstly I had to hand in my CV to a member of staff behind the till, and wait for a phone all back if they were interested, which they were. I was then given a questionnaire/assessment form which I had to complete and hand back in at the nearest convinience. If I scored a certain amount I would then have a an interview.

Had interview with manager, asked my experience, of retail, and what I had been doing before joining Co.op, we were a new Co.op. we were just asked questions, filled in all our details, it was 13 years ago.

Relaxed and informal. I think if you have worked in retail the interview would be extremely easy but a lot of questions could be answered with a little common sense even if you haven't.
