Easy and not in detail at all - minimal requirements to join the team - will hire absolutely anybody to be honest - maybe explains why the turnover is so high
Thank you for your feedback. Not everyone finds interviewing an easy experience but we do try to help our candidates as best we can. We've recently shared questions ahead of the interview to help people prepare and to be more inclusive in the way we hire.
Had to schedule the interview time, then also bring ID and work rights proof and such. In the interview, was asked the standard strength based interview questions, like "what would you consider as your weakness ?"
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Co-op (Reading, England) in Feb 2020
Interview
Rubbish not good not structured very rushed and it was not making any sense at all I don’t understand the concept of the whole interview and I would not recommend at all
We're sorry to hear about your experience. Prior to interview did you receive the interview guide pack? It details all our behaviours and the kind of questions you might be asked. If the manager wasn't clear on the process or the questions, did you ask them to explain? We know that interviews can be a stressful situation for some people and we advise candidates to not be afraid to ask for their interviewer to explain or repeat a question.
From 2023 we've started to include the questions you will be asked in the interview pack, we believe this supports a more inclusive approach to interviews and will help candidates prepare.
