I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Coca-Cola HBC (Athen, , Attika) in Feb 2021
Interview
The process is divided into 6 steps: 1) call by HR, 2) meet with couple members of data science team and answering scenario questions, 3) 1 week of case study 4) meet with data science team to discuss your solution, 5) meet with the data science head/director, 6) in-tray (e-tray) test.
The waiting time between each step is relatively large.
I am disappointed because I was given the impression that I am a good match, and I have been told that technically I was good, but at the end I did not receive an offer. I guess that because at the first stage I was asked about my current salary, which is high, but they choose to continue with the whole process, even though I suspect they were not willing to pay that much of money.
The HR said a cheap excuse that made no sense.
My overall sense is that they want to build a team like a consultancy company (P*w, a#centure, E%). Many but cheap professionals.

Question 1
* How would you respond if a junior data scientist is not understanding on what you are explaining to him/her?

Interview
In General the interview was very easy. I got good feedback along the way including after the interview and am pretty sure it was good BUT what they did was very unprofessional. They asked for my salary expectation wasted four hours of my life just to tell me after the entire sequence that my salary expectations were too high. Ummm why are we asking in the first place? Exactly to avoid such situations. I could have invested that time and energy into other recruiting processes. This behaviour has actual consequences in someone else’s life and I really found it unprofessional. I hope they refrain from doing so in the future.
