Cognizant Software Engineer (GenC Next) interview questions

First they will shortlist some candidate by resume and there will a Round1 which consist of 5 sections in those 5 sections 2 will be snippet and 2 will be coding and 1 will be DBMS(it may vary according to your resume) after this test there will and TR followed by an HR

The Interview process goes straight point to point. Starting with the introduction of the candidate followed by the description of the projects and if they would be interested in the domain of your project, they can dig further into the projects to see if the candidate has solely worked on it and is familiar to the technology. After getting satisfied by the response, the interviewer moves onto some basic questions of probability and statistics to know that the candidate has sound knowledge of data interpretation and reasoning ability. After that, they may move onto some core topics of CS like OOP and OS, they also test the candidate on their practical knowledge of these concepts on a code editor. The interview carries out with some verbal questions along with the process where interviewer tries to extract and grade the basic knowledge of the candidate. After around 40-45 mins, the interview gets completed.
