I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cognizant (Hyderabad) in Nov 2010
Interview
Attended a walk-in. I had around 1 yr working abroad previously. So, I applied then asked to come to campus for an interview. The Manager whom I will be reporting interviewed me at a high level, then introduced me to a project lead. The PL interviewed technical questions then I was asked to leave.
After few days I was informed to join.
I liked the PM because he was very open about everything. He informed me that he wants me to join in short time. The HR mistakenly asked me to leave, but the PM asked the HR to call me back and ask me to come. So it was helpful because I was able to complete the interview.
