Overall very quick and efficient process. Closed end-end within 2 weeks.
Recruiter connect followed by technical and managerial rounds, based on availability. Scheduling can be a bit difficult because of available slots. But once that is sorted and complete, feedback is quick followed by compensation negotiation and offer letter.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cognizant (Jersey City, NJ) in Nov 2021
Interview
A Word of Caution for Cognizant Candidates: The "Talent Partner" that I worked with in the interview process was very deceptive. Following 2 interviews with senior leadership, I received an offer, which I verbally accepted. Time past and there was barely any communication from this "talent partner". Come to find out, Cognizant blamed their client for not materializing the role - i.e. if Cognizant doesn't win business they, as an organization, will drop recruits at the drop of a hat and do not hesitate to hide behind & blame their clients for it.
That is no way to run a business or treat recruits. A word of caution for those considering Cognizant as a potential employer - they did this to me, they could easily do this to you.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Cognizant (Pune)
Interview
Seamless process. Was well coordinated and did not involve lot of follow ups.
It was 3 level interview process starting with high level and then deep technical. Finally HR round to conclude.
