I applied online. I interviewed at Collins Aerospace (Union, WV) in Feb 2017
Interview
The interview was administered by a panel of around three people. Semi formal. Simple questions. Good atmosphere during the interview process. The questions were general questions. There wasn’t anything too off putting or unique.
It was very professional, engaging, and informative! The interview was conducted over zoom. We discussed the role and what it would entail. My interviewer left a lot of time for me to ask questions and answered them very thoroughly.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Collins Aerospace (Jacksonville, FL) in Jun 2021
Interview
Hireview self recorded interview counts as initial screening. Next, video interview with 3 individuals (hiring Mgr, site manager and upper management). After this they make their decision. Clear and easy questions “what would you do if…” highly professional people but didn’t try to sell you the company and why you should work there. Very little to no interaction with recruiter. Team promised to get back in 3 weeks. Lack of communication. Recruiter advised 6 weeks later job was offered to internal candidate. I had already accepted a higher level position with a different company by this time. Extremely slow feedback process, impossible to stay motivated to work here due to lack of communication in the interview process.
