Very conversational and was very straight forward. Didn't ask general questions and clearly had read through my resume very thoroughly. They also answered my questions with a lot of detail.

Question 1
What was a challenge you faced in your previous Internship, and how did you go about solving it?
Walk in interviews. Horribly thought out. It was clear that the team was not prepared in any way to handle the number of people applying. We first stood in the sun in a line to just register and enter the building, which stretched out to the parking lot. Once that hurdle was cleared, we were left to join the massive group of 100+ people there applying for all fields of jobs. The people would come from inside to take our resumes and take them inside for screening. The job itself was to be for a min experience of 3 years. After giving our resumes, we stood outside for a few more hours after which they broke for lunch. We also went for lunch but the cafeteria ran out of both food and water. The food was expensive too. By the time we came back (1 hour later which is the time they told us to be back by), waited for another 30 mins or so. Just to be told that our experience (of 3 years) was not enough to apply or be accepted. The people applying there infact started getting angry, because truthfully this entire process and even the interview could have been done online to respect everyones time who had come 30 kms out of the city.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Collins Aerospace (Oakville, ON) in Jan 2024
Interview
Such a waste of time I traveled 2 hours for this interview. When I asked for an update after the interview they Rejected. Hiring process is slow. They didn't mention the salary.
