      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Conduent

      Interview

Had a phone interview with a recruiter. Then, had phone interview with decision maker. Got invite to offices. Spent the whole day meeting with various folks, got offered job that same day. Very laid-back process.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Conduent (San Jose, CA) in Jul 2022

      Interview

Email with HR, then online interview with the hiring manager. First call, the hiring manager was a no-show. HR never asked for my availability the second time and scheduled a random time the next day. Call with hiring manager was a video call, but I was the only one with my camera on..

      Interview

The team was very professional and within two weeks I received a job offer. Negotiations on the offer went pretty smooth and I accepted the offer. Interview questions were standard and HR was very informative on the role.

      Interview

This was the most disorganized, disrespectful interview process I have ever been a part of. The process started with a scheduled time to screen with a recruiter, which was then cancelled with an obligatory 'already filled the position' email, only to have the recruiter follow up a week later with a new time request. When I asked for clarification, I was told that the chosen candidate decided not to accept the role, so now they would talk to me. Fine. This was followed by multiple touchpoints from the recruiter where I was referred to by the wrong name, sent interview details for other candidates, and then when I was finally scheduled for an onsite interview, the recruiter called me less than 15 minutes prior to the interview, when I was already on site, to tell me the interviewer was 'too busy' to talk to me and it would need to be rescheduled. When it was finally rescheduled, the interviewer proceeded to tell me that she was unaware of why she was interviewing me, and couldn't really be of much use, as she had only started with the company a few weeks prior herself. I don't know if my experience was driven out of limited bandwidth, too rapid growth, or plain incompetence, but any company whose recruiters don't even know who they are emailing/calling will have difficulty attracting and keeping quality talent. When the recruiter emailed me to say 'thanks but no thanks', I was relieved.
