I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Conduent (San Juan, PR) in Mar 2016
Interview
I applied online through a indeed.com, the next day I as called up for an interview. They made a group of about 6 or 7 wait around for hours in the lobby. It was under constructions the offices and like most call center seemed pretty grim. I ended up declining the offer since they didn't have any work/life balance. I still get messages inviting me for interview till these days.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Conduent (Hyderabad) in Jul 2019
Interview
After the initial communication, interview was scheduled consisting of 2 technical rounds followed by a managerial round. The technical rounds were difficult as indepth scenario based questions were asked which tested experience and knowledge.
Specially appreciated the managerial round as both technical and interpersonal skills were tested. Was very satisfied with the information provided and a lot of care was taken by the interviewer to clarify any doubts i had.
After this HR communication started with break down of proposed offer letter was shared which I accepted.
However this where things become very unprofessional as the process is drawn out for over 1 month finally ending with complete stoppage of any form of communication.
It is completely acceptable that offering a job is totally upto the company, however minimal professional courtesy of sending a mail for not providing offer letter is amiss. This lack of closure leaves a very bad taste in the mouth and ends up being a complete waste of time for every one involved.
