DB Schenker interview questions

reviewed salary requirements with recruiter and she stated there are 2 positions and the salary meets 1 of the positions (which i originally applied to). 3 rounds of 1 hour interviews with multiple last minute changes and cancellations to the scheduled time. Recruiter reaches out and says it went very well and they would like to offer me a position at 10k under my initial salary requirement (lesser position I didn't apply for). I countered and said I needed it at my requirement since I am relocating for the position so they offers 3k more. Big waste of time. Be prepared for a low-ball offer.

Spoke with the recruiter initially, then the hiring Manager. I thought the chemistry was right, I was currently working in the same Industry, same position I was applying for, felt I answered her questions...so overall...I felt the interview went well When I discovered I did not secure the position, I was a bit surprised since as reiteration...I spent the last 15 years as a competitor of DB Schenker, in the same role I'd be assuming, and unless I totally missed my interpretation as to how the interview went, the only reason I can revert to is my age as much as it pains me to say...
