The recruiter reached out on her own and I responded to the basic questions on email. Then this process went for couple of times , before she scheduled an interview. The position was changed from solution architect to pre-sale architect and I was informed 2 minutes before the interview.
The interviewer was polite and courteous , but wanted me to look at the camera continuously. I told him my constraint but he didn't budge. In the middle of the interview he mentioned that he thinks I have not worked hands-on even though I am able to answer 90% of the questions. I was surprised about what it even meant. Few more questions and then the interview came to an end. Reached out to the recruiter 2 days post interview - No response. Reached out again 7 days post interview - Provided negative result with no actual reason provided.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DXC Technology (Amsterdam) in Jul 2025
Interview
I was contacted by their recruitment team because my profile matched one of their long-term projects.
Pros: The team was transparent about the salary proposal from the very first call, which I appreciated.
Cons: After the initial conversation, I was asked to attend more than 15 additional calls over the course of a month. The feedback was consistently positive until the very last call, when it suddenly shifted to neutral, and I was eventually informed that another candidate had been chosen. The process felt unnecessarily long and ultimately unproductive.
Firstly ask me introduce myself, then start ask questions ,ask my experience, technical details, past employment history, expected salary range, if would like to work Remotely, some really detailed technical questions
