I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DataArt (Almaty)
Interview
There were multiple interviews to get into the company. First I was contacted by HR then English assessment and Technical Interview. After that you're contacted by HR with an offer and negotiate your terms. After DataArt's onboarding you'll need to get through Project's Interview process and it solely depends on client's hiring processes. That could be anything from a 20 minute small talk to a full fledged FAANG style interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions were mostly about my technology stack starting from some general questions about Java core, JPA, SQL and then going deeper into decision making.
Basically It has three main parts:
1. English check with English Teacher
2. Java programming skills test with some developer
3. Meeting with Team lead of the project that you are applying to.
Myself ended up in different project, as they filled the role during my leave time in previous company. So I had second meeting with different Team Lead
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly typical Java questions. Collections, concurency, Standard API, Webservices, etc.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at DataArt (Kiew, ) in Mar 2019
Interview
First interview was with English teacher. I`ve got a short feedback right after it. In a few days HR manager invited me for technical interview. It was quite difficult (comparing to others) but interesting.
