I applied in-person. I interviewed at Dell Technologies
Interview
They were interested in learning more about the previous work experience and how it has shaped skills. At the same time, they also mentioned the company culture and wanted to understand how you feel about the company’s culture and overall fit.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (College Station, TX) in Oct 2018
Interview
Applied through the university and talked to the recruiters at career fair. Got a phone call one week later and then an invitation for an interview on campus. All behavioral and conversational type of questions. More like a casual conversation than an interview. Both graduates from the university.
I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Dell Technologies in Apr 2015
Interview
Terrible time management. You simply lost track of it as the recruiters fail to communicate anything at all, I had to follow up directly and they setup a meeting with the hiring manager and staff, it went great. Hadn’t I exchanged phone numbers with the leader, who pretty much lead me into thinking I was the best candidate I wouldn’t have been hired.... Lon story short, the leader was also thinking I was signed up and ready for onboarding. The recruiter never reached out for extending the offer to me and as result I have to present notice too late with my former employer ( current back then) hence I started with Dell past 3 weeks the intended date because of te whole delay in preparing my onboarding.
