The interview process was quite seamless and organized, but the actual recruiter himself did not leave me with a positive reflection of the company. To begin, he blatantly no-showed for our first scheduled interview, and when I reached out after 15mins via email, he replied verbatim: "I'm in a meeting and have to reschedule." When I did finally speak with him a few days later, he gave me about 6mins total and all he did was read the job description aloud and ask if I indeed had the described qualifications. He then passed me along to continue the process. Over several weeks, I ended up meeting with 3 people on the actual hiring team, and they were all fantastic. A coordinator on the talent acquisition team helped me schedule each of these calls, and he was quick, communicative, and organized. I ultimately did receive an offer, but the recruiter (who only came back into the process at this point) was short with me and gave me very little time to ask questions or think. Again, he missed the scheduled time we had planned to discuss the offer, and I had to proactively follow up. When I asked to negotiate the salary, he was very flippant, brusque and rude. Ultimately, I declined the offer and was simply met with a "Ok I'll let the team know, bye." from the recruiter. It's a shame I was left with such a negative interaction, bc I truly enjoyed the 3 other people I met, and had a great experience with the scheduling team.
