The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (Austin, TX) in Mar 2012
Interview
Interview was conducted on a school campus, so Dell came to me. The interview was one on one and consisted of an explanation of the upcoming duties of the position as well as a run-through of current technology architectures in computing.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (Plano, TX) in Jan 2008
Interview
Interview process lasts about a full business day, with either interviews or info about the company given to you. interviews are all behavioral and panel style. there were two separate panel interviews. in my opinion it's intensely easier to get an interview with an employee referral, as it is with most companies. however, if you get referred by a form hca employee that is on good terms with the company, you're almost guaranteed to get an offer so long as you are at least decent in your interview. they do omit people who seem overqualified, as I've seen when I was interviewing. the salary is not as competitive with other companies, however there is a lot of flexibility ith the company and minimal overtime for most positions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
word association questions. completely pointless. for example, first thing you think of when the interviewer says "blue", I doubt this still gets asked.
