I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Deloitte (New York, NY) in Mar 2008
Interview
I got passed over for their financial consulting practice (at Deloitte, not Deloitte Consulting) during on campus interviews. However, I attended an on campus presentation by two senior manager at a different time and saved their business cards. A few months after on campus interviews concluded, I saw a job in the practice open up on their website. I contacted the people on the business cards and got an interview in New York.
It was half an hour with HR then several interviews with prospective colleagues. The questions were softballs with only one or two technical question on common financial questions. (i.e. Tell me what the yield curve is and how do construct and deconstruct one.) There was a second round but it was more of the same with slightly senior members of the practice. I don't believe that I interviewed with a partner. I got the job and accepted.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Deloitte (Frankfurt am Main) in Jan 2010
Interview
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte in Nov 2009
Interview
The first interview was on the phone and took about haft an hour. It was mainly to test my communications abilities in French and English.
I was called backed for an interview at their office, which consisted of a written test, behavioral questions and brainteasers.
The interviewers were nice and I had a lot of fun thoughout the process.
