I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte in Oct 2012
Interview
I applied through my university's career center and was invited for a first round. Deloitte was nice enough to hold a case interview workshop a few days before the interview. Interview consisted of both a case interview, and a behavioral interview afterwards.
Case interview consisted of a scenario concerning a merger between two big companies. Overall, I think I did very well with both interviews, but in the end, I didn't quite make the cut.
I got a call the following week from HR that was I wasn't going to be proceeding to the second round.
Overall, everyone was friendly, and I knew where I was throughout the process. HR and everyone involved were very responsive to my e-mails.

Interview
I was hired through an on-campus recruitment process. The process consisted of a written round, group activity and an interview. The group activity consisted of a case study which was to be discussed in a group and then presented. Case Study was related to Systems Project Management. The interview was typical run-of-the-mill HR interview. The panel was friendly. Questions based on the CV were asked.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Deloitte (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2012
Interview
I got the 1st round interview through on campus recruiting. The 1st round interview consist of two back to back 30 minutes interviews. One is behavioral and one is case. I had the case interview first with a senior manager. He presented (read) the case to me with a piece of paper on hand, and given pretty much everything that I need for this case. The case was about a investment bank grow through inquiring multiple banks in the past 2 years and the old financial reporting systems does not compatible with each other. He asked me 4 questions regarding system integration and data management.
The behavioral interview was pretty standard. The lady who interviewed me was really nice. She asked several questions regarding team experience (conflict/ leadership/challenge).
I was fortunate to get selected to the 2nd round interview the next day. I got notified through phone the night of my 1st round interview. The 2nd round interview is still on campus and it's a 30 minutes case interview with a partner. He tried to make the case conversational, and intended to leave out some information for me to ask questions. He asked me 5-6 questions to guide me through the analysis process, which I find is really helpful. The case was about CRM system implementation in a global organization.
