I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Deloitte in Aug 2011
Interview
The overall process was haphazard and out of expectations. The GD/case-study provided was not properly reviewed against its real objectives. Any talkative person with no sense of technology, particularly Computer-Science is preferred over those who were worth it. Overall experience simply depressed about the company.

Question 1
Client is facing some loss and you are a consultant from an IT company, you need to give innovative solutions and suggestions. They will divide people in groups of 7 or 8 randomly. After discussion in group, the group has to make a chart also, showing how they are reaching their solution.
A company has acquired another, so while their merger, you have to give consultancy to your client regarding how to make the two companies together and issues concerning their employees.

Interview
Applied through my career center's website. Within a week I was contacted by a recruiter expressing interest in me. Deloitte did not come to my school for OCR so I was thrilled they were interested. I chatted with the recruiter a few times over the phone just very briefly each time. I was then set up for a behavioral phone interview which lasted about 45 minutes. Questions were very general and standard behavioral questions. Be sure to know your resume very well because they ask you in depth questions about everything on there. About 4 days after that interview I was contacted by the recruiter again to talk about some feedback from the interview. After informing me that it went well she said they would like to move onto the next round and schedule me for two 30 minute case interviews at their office. Scheduling this was a little tough and took some time because of vacations and whatnot. The case interviews were pretty challenging and required a bit of studying. I highly recommend looking at their website and practicing the ones they have on there. The two cases were very different, where one was much more technical than the other. The interviewers really probe you for more information and give you what if scenarios. They really want to see how you react to this and if you have the ability to interact with them as if they were clients. Just remember to keep calm and ask questions to clarify. About a week after the case interviews I was called and offered a position.
